Oven Repair in Northern Virginia

An oven that will not hold temperature ruins more than dinner. We calibrate, repair and verify the heat so your baking comes out even again.

Wall-oven and range-oven repair, verified on a meter

An oven is a closed-loop heating system: a sensor reads the cavity temperature, the control board compares it to your setting, and it switches the bake or broil element accordingly. When any link in that loop drifts, you get uneven baking, long preheats or an oven that never reaches temperature. Our manufacturer-trained technicians test the element, the temperature sensor and the relay board together, then verify the corrected cavity temperature with a meter — so "fixed" means measured, not guessed.

The oven faults we resolve most

A completely dead oven is usually a failed bake element or a burned relay on the control board. An oven that bakes hot or cold, or browns unevenly, is most often a temperature sensor that has drifted out of its resistance range — an inexpensive part that transforms your results. Self-clean lockouts are a frequent call too: the high heat of a self-clean cycle commonly trips a thermal fuse or fails the door-lock motor, leaving the door stuck. We carry genuine elements, sensors, igniters and control boards for both wall ovens and freestanding ranges.

  • Electric and gas ovens, wall ovens, double ovens and range ovens
  • Bake and broil elements, temperature sensors, igniters and relays
  • Self-clean, door-lock and control-board repair
  • 6-month parts-and-labor warranty on every oven repair

Built-in and high-end ovens

Built-in wall ovens and pro-style ranges use documented service procedures and model-specific parts. Because we follow the manufacturer's process and fit genuine components, your repair keeps the appliance running the way it was engineered to — important on the higher-end ovens common in Northern Virginia's newer and custom homes.

Common problems we fix

Frequently asked questions

My oven heats but bakes unevenly. What causes that?

The most common cause is a temperature sensor that has drifted out of range, telling the board the cavity is hotter or cooler than it is. Replacing or recalibrating it usually restores even baking. A failing element or convection fan can also be responsible.

My oven door locked during self-clean and will not open. Help?

This is common. Self-clean heat frequently trips a thermal fuse or stalls the door-lock motor. We diagnose whether it is the fuse, the lock assembly or the board and restore normal operation.

Do you repair gas ranges as well as electric ovens?

Yes — we service both. Gas oven work (igniters, safety valves, flame sensors) is performed by trained technicians because it involves combustion safety.
